This policy explains how returns, cancellations, and refunds work for orders placed on the Fairdeal platform.
Order Cancellation
You may request to cancel an order through the Fairdeal app. Because we operate on a quick-commerce model with delivery within 60 minutes, cancellation may only be possible before your order has been dispatched from the hub. Once an order is out for delivery, it may not be possible to cancel it.
Fairdeal may also cancel an order for reasons including suspected fraud, violation of our Terms, product unavailability, pricing or product-information errors, or other unforeseen circumstances. If we cancel an order for which you have already paid, a full refund will be issued.
Product Accuracy
Fairdeal strives to maintain accurate product information. However, errors may occasionally occur due to technical issues or third-party data. Where such an error affects your order, Fairdeal reserves the right to cancel the affected item or order and issue a refund.
Returns and Eligibility
Products sold on Fairdeal are generally non-returnable, non-replaceable, and non-exchangeable.
Returns or replacements are accepted only where an item is damaged, defective, expired, or incorrectly delivered, or where there is a shortage in the quantity delivered.
Please inspect your order at the time of delivery. Any damage, defect, expiry, shortage, or incorrect item must be reported to our delivery partner at the time of delivery so that the issue can be recorded and resolved immediately.
In the limited case of a defect, expiry, or damage that was concealed and could not reasonably be identified at the time of delivery, please contact our support team as soon as you discover it, with supporting details and photographs. Such cases will be reviewed by Fairdeal on a case-by-case basis.
Items reported as damaged, defective, expired, incorrect, or short may need to be handed back to our delivery partner or made available for collection so that we can verify the claim.
Refunds
Once a return or cancellation is approved, you may choose how you would like your refund to be issued:
To your original payment method — for online payments, the amount is reversed to the source account or instrument; for cash-on-delivery orders, the amount is refunded in cash or to a bank account or UPI ID you provide.
As Fairdeal platform credit — issued to your Fairdeal account for use on future orders.
Approved refunds are initiated within 7 working days. The time taken for the amount to reflect depends on the refund option chosen and, for payment-method refunds, on your bank or payment provider.
Refunds will cover the price of the affected item or order. Any applicable delivery charges are handled in line with the reason for the return — delivery charges are refunded where the return is due to an error or fault on Fairdeal's part.
Fairdeal Cashback
Cashback is a credit added to your Fairdeal account and is not a cash refund. It may be transactional or promotional and is granted at Fairdeal's discretion. Cashback does not apply to canceled orders or refunded items. Fairdeal reserves the right to modify or cancel cashback offers without prior notice. Cashback is valid for 1 day unless otherwise specified, and may not apply to all products.
